● Nexfield / Compare / Apollo, Cognism & Kompass
A researched list of companies, not another database.
Apollo, Cognism and Kompass are subscription platforms for searching and exporting company and contact data. Nexfield does a different job: we research which European companies are probable buyers of what you sell, rank them and give a reason to contact each one. You get one Excel file for one fixed price from €99. Many customers use both.

Different tools for different jobs
Finding new B2B customers takes two steps. First you decide which companies to approach. Then you find who to contact at each one and how to reach them. Apollo, Cognism and Kompass give you a database and filters, so your team does the searching and picks the companies itself. Nexfield does the first step for you: it returns a finished, ranked list with a reason to contact each company. It does not include names, email addresses or phone numbers of individuals.
That is why we do not see Apollo as a rival. Many customers start with a Nexfield list and then use a tool such as Apollo or Lusha to add contacts for the companies that matter.

When Nexfield is the better fit
- You want to know which companies in a sector and country are worth approaching, and why, without building the list yourself.
- You need a list once, or a few times a year, and do not want a subscription, seats or credits that expire.
- You sell to industrial, energy, pharma or food companies in Europe and need buyers, not your own competitors.
- You want an Excel file you can filter, share and import into your own CRM.
When Apollo, Cognism or Kompass fits better
- You need names, email addresses or phone numbers of individual decision makers.
- Your team prospects every day and wants email sequences, a dialer or CRM enrichment in one platform.
- You want to run your own searches across a large database at any time.
Those needs are real, and these tools are built for them. They work well together with a Nexfield list: you already know which companies to look up.
Nexfield first, then Apollo
A typical workflow: order a Nexfield list for your sector and country, sort it by priority, read the reason on each row, and then look up the right person at the companies you choose in the contact tool you already use. You pay for contact data only for companies you have already qualified.
What a Nexfield list costs
The Test is a sample of the real list: about 8 to 12 highly matched companies in one country, for €99. Local costs €950 for one country, Regional €1,500 for two countries and Regional Plus €2,000 for three countries. All prices exclude VAT. One fixed price, no subscription, no contract, no minimum.
Start with a €99 test or order a full list.

03 Questions
Questions about the comparison.
For deciding which companies to approach, yes: Nexfield delivers a researched, ranked list of companies with a reason to contact each one. For finding contact details of individuals or sending email sequences, no. Apollo is a natural next step after a Nexfield list, and many customers use both.
Nexfield covers companies in 15 European countries and focuses on industrial, energy, pharma and food buyers. Cognism is a prospecting platform with contact data such as emails and mobile numbers, sold as a tailored subscription. If you need a list of the right companies rather than a contact database, Nexfield is an alternative; if you need contact data, the two complement each other.
Kompass publishes KSales Starter at 59 € per month as a subscription (checked 27 Oct 2026), and EasyBusiness as a tailored offer. Nexfield has no subscription: the Test costs €99 once for about 8 to 12 companies in one country, and a full country (Local) costs €950, excluding VAT. Which is cheaper depends on how often you need a list and whether you want to do the searching yourself.
No. You pay one fixed price per list: Test €99, Local €950, Regional €1,500 or Regional Plus €2,000, all excluding VAT. There are no seats, no credits and no contract.
No. Nexfield identifies which companies to approach, not which individual to call. Each row has the company, location, sector, sub-sector, size, a priority rating and a reason to contact it. You can add contacts afterwards with a tool such as Apollo or Lusha.

04 Who we are
An AI company with engineering roots.
Nexfield is an AI company. Our sector-specialist AI works through the 56 sub-sectors of your unit, finds the companies that should be buying what you sell, classifies and prioritises them, and reviews its own output against your description before anything is delivered.
Nexfield was founded by a chemical engineer with years in technical sales to the process industry. That is why the reasoning on every list follows how industrial buying actually works, rather than generic company data.
We work business-to-business only: one order, one fixed price, no retainer, no contract, no minimum. Every order is covered by our terms and conditions.
