● Nexfield / Pharma / Switzerland
Pharmaceutical companies in Switzerland, researched for what you sell.
Switzerland has one of the densest pharma and life-science markets in Europe. Nexfield researches the Swiss manufacturers, API producers, CDMOs, biotechs and medtech companies that should be buying from you, each with a reason to call.
01 The market
Swiss pharma in numbers
According to the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (aboutswitzerland.eda.admin.ch), the chemical and pharmaceutical industry generates about half of Swiss exports and around 7% of GDP, exports more than CHF 100 billion a year and employs more than 75,000 people. It counts roughly 1,000 operators, and nearly half of its staff work at small and medium-sized companies. Pharma companies spent more than CHF 6 billion on research and development in Switzerland in 2021.
Where the pharma companies are
Basel is the centre: chemicals and pharma make up 44.9% of Basel-Stadt's value added (2022), and the Basel Area life-sciences cluster counts more than 800 companies, including SMEs, start-ups and spin-offs. The canton of Zurich has the most medtech jobs in the country. In western Switzerland, the Swiss Health Valley (Geneva, Vaud, Valais, Fribourg, Neuchâtel and Jura) brings together around 1,340 players in biotech, medtech, pharma and digital health. In Valais, Visp and Monthey link energy-intensive chemistry, fine chemicals and pharma manufacturing. Zug is the fourth location the FDFA names.
Who this list is for
Suppliers of process and cleanroom equipment, single-use systems, lab instruments and consumables, primary packaging, cold-chain logistics, validation and QA, and pharma engineering that want to sell to Swiss companies. Switzerland is outside the EU, so a Swiss list is also a good fit for sellers from Germany, Austria, France and Italy who already serve the neighbouring markets.
What is in the list
You choose the sub-sectors that fit your offer, such as API and intermediate producers, sterile manufacturing, biologics, CDMOs and CMOs, CROs, analytical labs, medical devices, diagnostics or research centres, and the cantons or regions you want.
Every row has the company name, country, region, city, sector, sub-sector, company size, a priority rating and one sentence explaining why the company is a probable buyer of what you sell. You get an Excel file with filters on every column, usually within 5 minutes to 1 hour after payment confirmation on working days (orders at the weekend arrive on Monday; in exceptional cases up to 24 hours). We do not pad lists to reach a number, and we leave out your competitors.
A reason to contact every company
The sentence on each row explains why the company fits, for example the type of production that uses your equipment, or a contract manufacturer whose services match your consumables. In a market with a few very large groups and hundreds of SMEs, that helps you find the mid-sized sites that are easier to reach.
Start with a €99 test
You do not have to commit to a full list to find out whether it works for the Swiss pharma market. The Test is a sample of the real list: about 8 to 12 highly matched companies in one country (Switzerland), delivered in the same Excel format as a full order. It costs €99, excluding VAT. One fixed price, no subscription, no contract, no minimum. If the sample fits, order Local (€950) for the rest of that country, or Regional (€1,500, two countries) and Regional Plus (€2,000, three countries) for a wider market.
Start with a €99 test or order a full list.
Swiss businesses pay no Dutch VAT on Nexfield orders.
GDPR and company data
Every entry is researched by our AI and confirmed in public sources. The lists are about companies, not people: they contain no personal contact details and no email addresses, so you are not buying a database of individuals. You remain responsible for how you contact the companies, as set out in section 8 of our terms and conditions. Many customers add contacts afterwards with a tool such as Apollo or Lusha, once they know which companies are worth it.
For pharma companies in other countries, see our pharmaceutical companies list for Europe, or the Switzerland prospect lists for industry, energy and food.

04 Who we are
An AI company with engineering roots.
Nexfield is an AI company. Our sector-specialist AI works through the 56 sub-sectors of your unit, finds the companies that should be buying what you sell, classifies and prioritises them, and reviews its own output against your description before anything is delivered.
Nexfield was founded by a chemical engineer with years in technical sales to the process industry. That is why the reasoning on every list follows how industrial buying actually works, rather than generic company data.
We work business-to-business only: one order, one fixed price, no retainer, no contract, no minimum. Every order is covered by our terms and conditions.
