B2B prospect lists for Luxembourg.
Researched lists of Luxembourg companies that should be buying what you sell, from Luxembourg City and the canton of Esch-sur-Alzette to the Moselle cantons and the north around Wiltz and Clervaux. Industrial, energy, pharma and food, classified by priority, each with a reason to call. Delivered as Excel, usually within the hour on working days.
01 The Luxembourg market
Twelve cantons, 100 communes, one small market
Luxembourg had 690,959 residents on 1 January 2026, spread over 12 cantons and, since two mergers on 1 September 2023, 100 communes. The cantons of Luxembourg (213,766) and Esch-sur-Alzette (197,314) hold almost 60% of the population. Luxembourg City had 137,678 residents, Esch-sur-Alzette 38,275, Differdange 31,421 and Dudelange 22,379. The workforce reaches across the borders: of an estimated 525,721 people working in the country in August 2026, 234,135 commuted in from abroad, mostly from France, Belgium and Germany. In absolute numbers this is a small market, so a Luxembourg list is shorter than one for any of its neighbours. Local covers one country, Regional two and Regional Plus three; you choose which countries when you order.
Industrial and manufacturing: steel and the southern business zones
Manufacturing employed 32,303 people in 2025, 6.2% of total employment of 521,920, and STATEC counted 846 manufacturing enterprises in 2023. Steel is the one branch STATEC reports in detail: 1.82 million tonnes of crude steel and 1.80 million tonnes of finished rolled products in 2025, including 1.21 million tonnes of sections. Most of the national business zones in the government's sectoral plan are in the south: Wolser in Bettembourg and Dudelange, Hahnebësch in Differdange and Sanem, Gadderscheier in Sanem, Robert Steichen in Käerjeng, Rodange and Foetz. Echternach and Wiltz host the two outside it. Logistics zones sit at Bettembourg/Dudelange and Contern, and the port zone at Mertert on the Moselle.
Energy and environmental technology: an importing grid
Luxembourg generated 2,709 GWh of electricity (net) in 2024 and imported 6,571 GWh: 4,470 GWh from Germany, 1,209 GWh from Belgium and 892 GWh from France. Hydropower produced 1,341 GWh, almost all of it at the Vianden pumped-storage station on the Our (1,236 GWh), and STATEC books a near-identical 1,236 GWh as exports to the German grid. Wind farms produced 467 GWh, solar 360 GWh and combined heat and power plants 571 GWh. Electricity, gas and steam supply counted 150 enterprises with 2,030 persons employed in 2023; water supply, sewerage and waste added 68 enterprises with 1,608.
Pharma and life sciences: healthtech rather than pharma plants
Life sciences in Luxembourg mostly means small healthtech companies rather than large production sites. The 2025 mapping by Luxinnovation and the Ministry of the Economy counts 130 private healthtech companies with about 2,500 employees, 72% of them with ten people or fewer: 42 in medical devices, 40 in health software, 25 distributors, 17 in bio-pharma, three in in-vitro diagnostics and three clinical laboratories. 44% are in the canton of Luxembourg and 28% in the canton of Esch-sur-Alzette, around the Cité des Sciences at Belval. Across all sectors, Luxembourg had 5,958 full-time-equivalent R&D staff in 2024 (provisional), 2,851 of them in enterprises.
Food and agriculture: dairy, cattle and Moselle wine
The 2025 farm census counted 1,805 agricultural holdings, 536 of them with 100 hectares or more. Farms kept 179,812 cattle, including 55,194 dairy cows and 21,276 suckler cows, alongside 67,426 pigs and 214,317 chickens. Along the Moselle in the cantons of Remich and Grevenmacher, 234 wine farms worked 1,189 hectares of vineyards in 2025. STATEC does not publish food-processing employment at this level of detail, so a food list here leans on producers, cooperatives and processors found company by company.
How a Luxembourg list is built
Choose your unit, describe what you sell and name the cantons or communes you want covered, or the whole country. Nexfield works through all 56 sub-sectors of your unit and returns only companies that are probable buyers, never your competitors. Each row comes with canton, commune, sub-sector, company size, a priority rating and one sentence explaining why the company belongs on your list.

The Test is a sample of the real list: about 8 to 12 highly matched companies in Luxembourg, in the same Excel format as a full order, for one fixed price of €99 with no subscription. If it fits, the Local package (€950) maps the rest of the country.
The list is about companies, not people: every entry is researched by our AI and confirmed in public sources, and it contains no personal contact details and no email addresses. You remain responsible for how you contact the companies, as set out in section 8 of our terms and conditions.
Businesses in Luxembourg with a valid VAT number pay 0% Dutch VAT: the VAT is reverse-charged. Prices are always shown excluding VAT.

An AI company with engineering roots.
