● Nexfield / Food / Netherlands
Food companies in the Netherlands, researched for what you sell.
The Netherlands has one of Europe's most export-driven food industries. Nexfield researches the Dutch food processors, ingredient makers, feed producers and growers that should be buying from you, and explains per company why.
01 The market
The Dutch food industry in numbers
According to the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service's Food Processing Ingredients Annual for the Netherlands (April 2026), the Dutch food industry had 9,045 companies in 2025 and 162,000 jobs in food and beverage in 2024. Net sales were €114 billion in 2024, and 62% of that was sold abroad. Dairy, meat and animal feed together make up almost half of the turnover.
Statistics Netherlands (CBS) estimates Dutch agricultural exports at €137.5 billion in 2025, led by dairy products and eggs, cocoa products, horticulture and meat. The industry association FNLI represents 17 branches and around 500 food companies.
Where the food companies are
Regio Foodvalley, a cooperation of eight municipalities including Ede and Wageningen, works on knowledge and innovation for healthy and sustainable food around Wageningen University & Research, and is part of the FoodNL alliance with AgriFood Capital in Noord-Brabant, FruitDelta Rivierenland and Greenport Venlo. Greenport West-Holland in South Holland is a greenhouse horticulture and fresh-logistics cluster with 607 grower companies on 4,500 hectares. Rotterdam's port links the processing industry to its raw materials and export markets.
Who this list is for
Suppliers of ingredients, processing and packaging machinery, hygiene, refrigeration, testing and certification, packaging materials and industrial services that want to sell to Dutch food producers. Dutch and Belgian sellers can also read the Dutch page Leadlijst voedingsindustrie.
What is in the list
You choose the sub-sectors that fit your offer, for example dairy processing and cheese, meat and poultry, animal and compound feed, bakery, confectionery and chocolate, potato and vegetable processing, food ingredients, edible oils, beverages or greenhouse growing, and the provinces you want covered.
Every row has the company name, country, region, city, sector, sub-sector, company size, a priority rating and one sentence explaining why the company is a probable buyer of what you sell. You get an Excel file with filters on every column, usually within 5 minutes to 1 hour after payment confirmation on working days (orders at the weekend arrive on Monday; in exceptional cases up to 24 hours). We do not pad lists to reach a number, and we leave out your competitors.
A reason to contact every company
Each row names why the company fits: the product line, process or certification that makes it a probable buyer. With a few thousand food companies in the country, the reason and the priority rating are what let your team start with the twenty that matter.
Start with a €99 test
You do not have to commit to a full list to find out whether it works for the Dutch food industry. The Test is a sample of the real list: about 8 to 12 highly matched companies in one country (the Netherlands), delivered in the same Excel format as a full order. It costs €99, excluding VAT. One fixed price, no subscription, no contract, no minimum. If the sample fits, order Local (€950) for the rest of that country, or Regional (€1,500, two countries) and Regional Plus (€2,000, three countries) for a wider market.

GDPR and company data
Every entry is researched by our AI and confirmed in public sources. The lists are about companies, not people: they contain no personal contact details and no email addresses, so you are not buying a database of individuals. You remain responsible for how you contact the companies, as set out in section 8 of our terms and conditions. Many customers add contacts afterwards with a tool such as Apollo or Lusha, once they know which companies are worth it.

04 Who we are
An AI company with engineering roots.
Nexfield is an AI company. Our sector-specialist AI works through the 56 sub-sectors of your unit, finds the companies that should be buying what you sell, classifies and prioritises them, and reviews its own output against your description before anything is delivered.
Nexfield was founded by a chemical engineer with years in technical sales to the process industry. That is why the reasoning on every list follows how industrial buying actually works, rather than generic company data.
We work business-to-business only: one order, one fixed price, no retainer, no contract, no minimum. Every order is covered by our terms and conditions.
